Observations

1. Student reminds another student of the need to address an audience
and points out the requirements of the assignment

This helped me to know whether students had understood the details of the assignment
2. Student gives advice on development of topic
3. Student quotes teacher's advice on writing objectively
Note the writer's self-effacement. These comments were common at the beginning
but disappeared by the end of the course.
4. Writer embeds social interaction with smily faces in text; reader claims
solidarity in laziness, being poor at tense, and using a bed
5. Student comment on egroups use in class
